Area Attractions: Shin Brook Falls is about a 15 minute drive. It has three major water falls with a total drop of near
60 feet. It is a nice 15 minute hike from where you park to the falls. There is great fishing and swimming there.==
Baxter State Park has over 200,000 acres of wilderness, Mt. Katahdin towers over all of it.== Sawtelle Falls is a 15
foot drop into a sandstone gorge from a massive sandstone ledge. It is about 20 minutes from us.==== In Baxter State park
there are many nice hiking trails for both the novice and experienced.
